About this tour

As you step off the plane and inhale the salty ocean breeze, you know you’ve arrived in Oman’s enchanting Dhofar region. Your eyes widen in awe as your transfer takes you from Salalah Airport to your hotel, where you’re greeted with warm hospitality and a comfortable bed for the night.

The next day, after savoring a delicious breakfast, you set out on a magical journey through time. Your first stop is the magnificent Mosque of Sultan Qaboos, where the intricate details of the architecture leave you breathless. As you drive through the lush coconut, banana, and papaya plantations, you can’t help but feel a sense of wonder at the beauty of nature.

Your heart swells with pride as you learn about the rich history and culture of Dhofar at the Al Baleed Museum. You pause for a quick photo op at the Old Sultan Palace, then head to the bustling Frankincense Souk, where you indulge in traditional clothes, crafts, and cosmetics.

As the day comes to a close, you return to your hotel for a restful night’s sleep, eager for the adventures that await you tomorrow.

With the sun rising high in the sky, you set out on an adventure through the eastern and western parts of Salalah. You immerse yourself in the old fishing village of Taqah, exploring the ancient Taqah Castle that stands as a symbol of the region’s rich heritage.

Your journey continues to the once-famous city of Sumharam (Khor Rohri), where the ancient ruins leave you spellbound. As you trek to Wadi Derbat, the famous waterfalls leave you feeling refreshed and rejuvenated.

Your journey takes you to the natural spring of Ain Razat, where the crystal clear waters leave you in awe of the beauty of Mother Nature. You continue on to the Qara mountains, where you explore the western part of Salalah and finally reach Mughsail Beach.

The white sand touching the deep blue of the ocean, waves bursting through natural titanic blowholes, and the rocky beach with a cave-like entrance leave you in awe of the majesty of the ocean.

As you return to your hotel for the night, you can’t help but feel grateful for the memories you’ve created and the experiences you’ve had in this magical land.

On the final day of your trip, you pack your bags and bid farewell to the enchanting Dhofar region. As you transfer from your hotel to Salalah Airport, you take one last glance at the breathtaking scenery, promising yourself that you’ll return to this magical place again.
